First Class Dog Training
Dog Training Obedience Dog Trainer Colorado trains all breeds in basic dog obedience training. In addition, Ted can address specific dog behavior problems, such as aggression or chasing wildlife. His proven Colorado dog training methods are based on positive reinforcement and repetition.
First Class Dog Training
The initial Dog Training Obedience Dog Trainer Colorado training session is 30 days. At the completion of that period, the owner will meet with Ted at Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel for one to two hours, during which the owner can review the dog’s progress and learn how to continue obtaining the same results at home.
After the initial 30-day session, your pets are welcome to come back for shorter “tune up” sessions to continue the training or address any specific problems that arise.
Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel trains many hunting dogs each year. Young puppies are trained for upland and waterfowl bird hunting. They are trained to respond to voice, hand signal and whistle commands.
Dog Training Obedience Dog Trainer Colorado is based on positive reinforcement, trust, and repetition. No force training is used. Ted strives for a finished hunting dog that is obedient and works in close range, but can work independently and think for himself in the field.
Retriever Fetch Lessons
The ranch has been maintained as a wildlife park, preserving hundreds of acres of cover and several ponds. The wildlife habitat supports a natural population of wild pheasants and a range of waterfowl.
